Our Mission

The Act of Recovery Foundation advances recovery as an interconnected practice that strengthens people, land, and animals. We deliver trauma-informed mental health education, wellness programming, arts-based healing, and community support through workshops, peer learning, and cultural programming. Our work also includes environmental stewardship, animal welfare, and food sovereignty, recognizing that personal healing, community resilience, and access to nourishing, locally sourced food are inseparable.
